San Basilio, Santu Basili in sardinian language, is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cagliari in the Italian region Sardinia, about 35 km (22 mi) north of Cagliari. As of 31 December 2004, it has a population of 1,371 and an area of 44.9 km2 (17.3 sq mi).[1]
San Basilio borders the municipalities of San Nicolò Gerrei, Sant'Andrea Frius, Senorbì, Silius, and Siurgus Donigala.
