Samuel Nuqingaq is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Nunavut in the 2013 election. In the original count of the ballots he was tied with Niore Iqalukjuak at 187 votes each.[1] A recount was held November 5, 2013, and Nuqingaq was found to have 187 votes to Iqalukjuak's 185.[2] He represents the electoral district of Uqqummiut.
