Samantha Christine Cope (born May 5, 1987) is an American actress.

Biography

Early life

Samantha Cope was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She then moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career as an actress.

Career

Her career began with small roles in television programs. She played the character of Andrea in two episodes of Drake & Josh, a Nickelodeon sitcom. She also served as a decoy on To Catch a Predator, a series of hidden camera investigations by the television newsmagazine Dateline NBC devoted to the subject of identifying and detaining potential child sexual abusers who attempt to contact children over the Internet.

She then moved on to feature films. First, she appeared in Movin' In, a fish out of water comedy film following a Swiss who moves to Los Angeles. Her co-star was Christy Carlson Romano. Then, she acted in Girls Gone Dead, a slasher film in the vein of Black Christmas and the Friday the 13th series.

She also appeared in the music video for Jordan Pruitt's cover version of We Are Family, recorded for the Walt Disney Pictures film Air Buddies.

She appeared with Florence Henderson in a 2007 short film titled That's Revolting.[1]

She soon moved on to play Theresa Hartman on Hannah Montana working opposite of Miley Cyrus on the episode titled "Promma Mia". This episode also features American Idol runner-up David Archuleta.

In 2009, Cope got the role of Noelle Lange in the Private web-series.

In August 2009, Cope got one of the lead roles in the dramatic web-series The Lake on TheWB.com, playing Alexis.
