Samuel W. Trott (March 1859 – June 5, 1925) was an American professional baseball player and manager who played eight seasons for the Boston Red Caps, Detroit Wolverines and Baltimore Orioles. After his playing day, Trott managed the Washington Statesmen for their inaugural season in 1891. He was born in Maryland and died in Catonsville, Maryland at the age of 66.
