Samuel Cruz Garza (born 17 October 1989, in Carrollton, Texas) is an American soccer player who currently plays for San Jose Earthquakes in Major League Soccer.
Career
Youth and College
Garza played two years with the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, after transferring from the University of Denver.
Professional
Garza was signed by Major League Soccer to a Generation Adidas contract and was subsequently drafted sixth overall by San Jose Earthquakes in the first round of the 2012 MLS SuperDraft.[1]
