Sam Delaney
Sam Delaney (born 16 April 1975)[citation needed] is an English journalist, TV presenter, voice-over artist and the ex-editor of Heat magazine.[1]
Personal life and career
Delaney was born in Hammersmith, London, England, and was educated at Shene Comprehensive school and the University of Sussex where he studied politics.
He has written for The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Independent, Men’s Health, Shortlist, Company, The New Statesman, NME, Q, Grazia, The Big Issue, Four Four Two and Cosmopolitan.
He has written two books; Get Smashed – The Story Of The Men Who Made The Ads That Changed Our Lives (Sceptre, 2007) and Night Of The Living Dad – Confessions Of A Shabby Father (John Murray, 2009). Delaney was the editor of Heat between 2009 and 2011.
He has written and presented documentaries for BBC Three, Channel 4 and Channel 5.
He currently presents shows on talkSPORT and BBC London. He also appears as a pundit and newspaper reviewer on Sky News.
He is married with two children, lives in London and is a lifelong supporter of West Ham United F.C.
