Sam John Byrne (born 23 July 1995) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a forward for Carlisle United on loan from Manchester United.

Club career

Byrne joined Manchester United in 2011. Previously he has been playing for St. Joseph's.[2]

On 31 January 2014 he was loaned to Carlisle United with his teammate Charni Ekangamene.[3] One day later he made his professional debut, coming on as a substitute against Bristol City.[4]
