Salcito is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Campobasso in the Italian region Molise, located about 25 km northwest of Campobasso. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 690 and an area of 28.2 km².[1]
Salcito borders the following municipalities: Bagnoli del Trigno, Civitanova del Sannio, Fossalto, Pietracupa, Poggio Sannita, San Biase, Sant'Angelo Limosano, Schiavi di Abruzzo, Trivento.
