Sakura Miyawaki (宮脇 咲良 Miyawaki Sakura, born 19 March 1998 in Kagoshima Prefecture) is a member of Japanese idol girl group HKT48.
Career
Miyawaki is a member from Team KIV of HKT48. She joined HKT48 as their first generation Kenkyūsei (Trainee) in July 2011. She made her theater debut together with the other first generation HKT48 members on 26 November 2011. She was then promoted to Team H on 4 March 2012.
2012
At the 2012 AKB48 General Election, Miyawaki became the first and only HKT48 member to be ranked in an AKB48 General Election.
She received 6,635 votes, placing her at the 47th position.[1]
She was then chosen to be in the Senbatsu of AKB's 28th single, "Uza".
2013
She was chosen to be in the Senbatsu of 31st single, Sayonara Crawl.
In the 2013 AKB48 General Election, she was placed twenty-sixth overall with 25,760 votes.[2]
Miyawaki was also selected as a senbatsu member in HKT48's single, Suki! Suki! Skip! and Melon Juice.
2014
On 11 January 2014, it was announced during the first day of HKT48's Kyushu 7 Prefecture Tour at Oita, that Miyawaki would be transferred to the newly formed Team KIV.[3]
