Saki Kumagai (熊谷紗希 Kumagai Saki, born 17 October 1990 in Sapporo, Hokkaido) is a Japanese international footballer. A Student at Tsukuba University. A central defender, she currently plays for 1. FFC Frankfurt in Germany after signing from Urawa Red Diamonds in 2011.[2] She was part of Japan's World Cup-winning team in 2011, scoring the winning penalty in the final against the USA.

In the final of the 2011 FIFA Women's World cup against the United States, Japan fought hard to tie the game at 2 and go to penalty shoot out. After American players such as Carli Lloyd missed their crucial penalty kicks, Kumagai hit an amazing shot to win Japan's first international title.
