Saima Akhtar Bharwana (born April 24, 1969 Shorkot) is Pakistani female politician. She elected as independent member for the National Assembly of Pakistan for the Constituency NA-90 (Jhang-V). She succeeded and became the member of National Assembly.[1]
Early life
Akhtar was born on April 24, 1969 in Shorkot, Punjab to an agriculturist. In 1990 she graduated in BA from Lahore College for Women University.[2]
Career
She joined politics and elected independent as MNA in election 2008 from the constituency NA-90.[3] Firstly she joined the Pakistan Muslim League (Q). Later in 2012 she joined Pakistan Muslim League (N)[4] in the meeting with Chief Minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore.[5]
