Saihou Gassama (born 11 December 1993[1]) is Gambian footballer. He currently plays for CD Sariñena which is playing in the Segunda División B.

Club career

Gassama began his career on homeland's club Gambia Ports Authority F.C., but later moved to Spain, signing a contract with Real Zaragoza B, impressing on a trial. He was subsequently loaned to RSD Santa Isabel in 2010-11 season.[2]

He then returned to Zaragoza, and made his debut with B club on 29 January 2012, against CE L'Hospitalet. He scored his first goal in Spain on 9 December, against Deportivo Alavés.

International career

He was called to Gambia national football team, after a successful period with under-20's. He made his international debut on 2 June 2012, against Morocco.[3] He scored his first goal on the 15th, against Algeria.[4]
