Saif Salman Hashim Al-Mohammadawi (Arabic: سيف سلمان هاشم المحمداوي, born July 1, 1993[1] in Baghdad, Iraq), is an Iraqi footballer who plays as a center midfielder for Erbil SC in Iraqi Premier League.

After a breakthrough season at Duhok,Salman has joined northern rivals Erbil SC in September 2013 just before the new season.

International debut

On December 3, 2012 Saif made his full international debut against Bahrain in a friendly match, which the match was ended 0-0.[2]

Style of play

Saif has the ability to find and exploit space with his good vision, pinpoint accurate passing, and ball control allow him to dictate the flow of play whilst having possession. Saif's efforts in attacking and defending making him one of the best Box-to-box players in Iraq. He has been nicknamed the Xavi Hernandez of Iraq.[citation needed]
