The saffron darter, Etheostoma flavum, is found in the lower Cumberland and lower Tennessee River drainages in Kentucky and Tennessee, and in the Duck River, upper Buffalo River and Indian Creek.[2] It is one of the 324 fish species found in Tennessee.[3]
