Sabrina Goleš (born 3 June 1965) is a Croatian former tennis player who competed for SFR Yugoslavia.
Biography
Goleš competed for SFR Yugoslavia at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. There she made it through to the finals, losing 6–1, 3–6, 4–6 to 15-year-old Steffi Graf. The same year, Goleš reached the Federation Cup semifinals as part of the Yugoslav team, losing to eventual champions Czechoslovakia.
In 1987, Goleš won the prestigious WTA tournament in Paris; and four titles in doubles. She also competed in 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul where she beat Arantxa Sanchez Vicario before losing to Gabriela Sabatini.
Goleš was the captain of the Federation Cup team of Yugoslavia and went on to coach the Federation Cup team of Croatia between 1992 and 1994.[1]
