The SUNTECH Tower (Suntech @ Penang Cybercity) is a business tower in Penang, Malaysia. The tower is the first tower to have MSC designated status. The tower will feature 22 levels (including ground floor), 240 office units (12th-21st floor) and 40 shoplots (Ground floor/1st floor). The office building is located within various amenities in the Penang Cybercity in the township of Bayan Baru. Suntech is also an advanced hi-tech hub with the ambience of convenience and luxury. The whole building is protected by CCTVs in every level. Tenants who occupy offices at 12th to 21st floor will get smart cards. The smart card checkpoints are at the ground floor and 10th floor.
Location
Suntech is located in the heart of Bayan Baru township, which is a fast developing township with lots of facilities under the Penang Cybercity Phase 1. Surrounding facilities includes 2 shopping malls, the Bayan Baru Market and food court, banks, eateries and others. The building is also located near the Penang Bridge and the Bayan Lepas Free Trade Zone, which houses multinational companies (MNC). Other than that, Suntech provides Wifi services to the building and its surrounding areas. It is also connected to Penang's state capital, George Town through the Jelutong Expressway.
