SK Benešov is a Czech football club located in Benešov. It currently plays in Divize A, which is in the fourth tier of the Czech football system.
In the 1994–95 season the club played in the Gambrinus liga, top flight of Czech football.[1] Financial problems however soon followed, when the main sponsor was arrested for financial criminality. The club was relegated the same season. After starting with three wins and a draw from the first six matches, Benešov failed to win again for the rest of the season, a run of 24 winless games.[2] In the 1995–96 season it dropped even from Czech 2. Liga and subsequent relegations followed. Since the 2000s the club has played in the Czech Fourth Division.
