Sławice [swaˈvit͡sɛ] (German Slawitz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dąbrowa, within Opole County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) east of Dąbrowa and 6 km (4 mi) north-west of the regional capital Opole.
Between 1871 and 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
