Sălcioara is a commune in Dâmboviţa County, southern Romania with a population of 4,090 people. It is composed of nine villages: Băneşti (the commune center), Cătunu, Cuza Vodă, Ghineşti, Mircea Vodă, Moara Nouă, Movila, Podu Rizii and Sălcioara.
