Sørvær is a fishing village in the municipality of Hasvik in Finnmark county, Norway. The village is located on the western tip of the island of Sørøya. Sørvær Chapel is located in this village. The village has a population of 201.[2] The village sits at the northern end of Norwegian County Road 822, about 20 kilometres (12 mi) west of the municipal centre of Breivikbotn. The small village of Breivik lies about halfway along the road to Breivikbotn.[3]
