Sébastien Dhavernas (born 19 January 1950) is a Canadian actor.

Dhavernas was born in Montreal, Quebec. He is the husband of actress Michèle Deslauriers and the father of actress Caroline Dhavernas and voice actress Gabrielle Dhavernas. He completed his classical studies at Collège Stanislas, did a year in Sociology at McGill University, to finally pursue his studies at the Conservatoire d’Art Dramatique de Montréal (1973 promotion). He has also acted in theatre.[1]

He officially became the 2008 candidate for the Liberal Party of Canada in the riding of Outremont.[2][3] He also ran in the Montreal municipal election, 2013 as a candidate for Montreal City Council in the borough of Verdun, losing narrowly to Sterling Downey.
