Ryota Arai (新井 良太 Arai Ryota, born August 16, 1983 in Hiroshima) is a Japanese professional baseball infielder for the Hanshin Tigers in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball. He previously played for the Chunichi Dragons from 2006 to 2010.
His elder brother Takahiro is also a professional baseball player currently playing for Hanshin Tigers.
