Rutland County Council in the East Midlands, England is elected every four years. Since boundary changes in 2003, 26 councillors are elected from 16 wards.
Political control
The council was unusual in that formal political groups were not significant in the administration of the county. However since 2003, there has been a majority of Conservative councillors.
