The Rumson School District is a community public school district that serves students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade from the Borough of Rumson, in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States.

As of the 2008-09 school year, the district's two schools had an enrollment of 995 students and 79.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.5.[1]

Students in grades 9 - 12 attend the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School, a regional, four-year comprehensive public high school, serving students from both Fair Haven and Rumson.[3]

Awards and recognition

For the 2001-02 school year, Forrestdale Middle School was recognized with the Blue Ribbon Award from the United States Department of Education, the highest honor that an American school can achieve.[4]
