Rudrur is a historical village in India. It is located at Varni Mandal in the Nizamabad district of Andhra Pradesh, India. It has a population of over 20,000 people.[citation needed] It is a major village in the Banswada Assembly Constituency.It is also considered as one of the Multicultural village in Banswada Constituency...It is also Considered as the one of main village Actively participated in Telangana movement.

Transportation

Rudrur is well connected with bus routes. There are buses from Hyderabad with hourly frequencies. It is about 175 km from Hyderabad, and the bus journey is about 5 to 6 hours. Passenger and express trains are available from Hyderabad to Bodhan (8 km from Rudrur).

History

Rudrur has a long history, and there are many forts in the village. The village was once under the rule of Rani Rudhrama Devi subordinates. Located in Rudrur is a rice and sugar cane research center, which has been in operation for nearly 50 years. An agriculture polytechnic college was recently established here. rudrur is center for communication between maharastra and andhrapradesh.
