Rowangchhari (Bengali: রোয়াংছড়ি) is an Upazila of Bandarban District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Geography
Rowangchhari is located at 22°10′00″N 92°20′00″E / 22.1667°N 92.3333°E . It has 3607 units of house hold and total area 442.89 km².
Demographics
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Rowangchhari has a population of 17904. Males constitute 53.47% of the population, and females 46.53%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 9753. Rowangchhari has an average literacy rate of 16.2% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]
