National Route 2 (officially, Ruta Nacional Número 2 "Mcal. José Félix Estigarribia", better known as Ruta 2 ) is one of the most important highways in Paraguay, which runs from Asunción to Caaguazu Department's capital, Coronel Oviedo. Crossing the departments of Central, Cordillera and Caaguazu. It continues to the east as Route 7 in Coronel Oviedo, which ends in the second largest city in Paraguay, Ciudad del Este.
