Rory Albanese (born 29 May 1977), a Long Island, New York native, was an executive producer and writer for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, which he joined in 1999 until October 2013. Albanese is also an accomplished stand-up comedian.[1]

Career

Stand Up

In the summer of 2006 he joined Lewis Black's "Red White and Screwed" tour performing with Lewis all over the country. Most recently, Albanese has been seen performing with Daily Show correspondents John Oliver and Wyatt Cenac, as well as headlining his own shows at clubs and colleges throughout the country.

Other Work

He is the voice of 'The American' on The Bugle podcast.

Upcoming TV & Film Work

Albanese's first half-hour comedy special premiered April 2, 2010 on Comedy Central.[2]

Personal life

Albanese graduated from Boston University's College of Communication in 1999.[3]
