Ronald D'Emory Coleman (born November 29, 1941, in El Paso, Texas) is an American politician and a former member of the United States House of Representatives from Texas. He was elected as a Democrat to the 98th United States Congress and to the six succeeding Congresses. He served from January 3, 1983 until January 3, 1997. He was not a candidate for re-election to the 105th United States Congress. He was implicated in the House banking scandal in 1992.

Ronald Coleman is a graduate of Austin High School, in El Paso, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas in 1963. In 1967, he graduated with a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. He attended the University of Kent in Canterbury, England in 1981. From 1967 to 1969, he was a captain in the United States Army. In 1967, he also worked as a teacher in El Paso public schools.

Ronald Coleman worked as a legislative assistant in the Texas House and Senate. In 1969, he was admitted to the Texas bar, and he commenced practice in El Paso. From 1969 until 1973, he was an assistant county attorney for El Paso County, Texas. He was elected to the Texas House of Representatives and served from 1973 until 1983. In 1974, he was a delegate to the Texas Constitutional Convention.
