Ronald Bernard Simpkins (born April 2, 1958) is a former American college and professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons during the 1980s. Simpkins played college football at the University of Michigan, and was recognized as an All-American. He played professionally for the Cincinnati Bengals and Green Bay Packers of the NFL.
Simpkins was born in Detroit, Michigan.
He is currently the head coach of varsity football at Western International High School, his alma mater.
