Ronald James Crisp (born 24 September 1938) is an English former footballer. He played as a right half or forward, and later as a midfielder. After starting his career as an amateur at Dulwich Hamlet, Crisp played for Football League clubs Luton Town, Watford, Brentford and Orient.[1] While at Watford, he also played representative football for Hertfordshire. In 1967 he moved to North America with the Los Angeles Toros, and in 1968 played in the North American Soccer League for San Diego Toros.[2] He was Watford's top scorer during the 1961–62 season with 13 goals in all competitions,[3] was the National Professional Soccer League's Player of the Year in 1967,[4] and was named in the North American Soccer League All-Stars team in 1968.[5] He later moved to South Africa.[4][6]
