Romesh Ranganathan (born 1978) is an English stand-up comedian and actor who has appeared on Mock the Week, Holby City, Soccer AM, Russell Howard's Good News[1] and Sweat the Small Stuff. He was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2013 Edinburgh Comedy Awards.[2] He is currently a regular on Stand Up for the Week.[3]
As mentioned on a 2013 episode of Live at the Apollo (series 9) which featured Ranganathan, he and his wife have two young children. He started performing as a comedian whilst a teacher in Crawley, where he lives.[4]
