Romeno (German: Romein, Ladin: Romen) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located :) about 35 km north of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,315 and an area of 9.1 km².[1]
The municipality of Romeno contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Malgolo and Salter.
Romeno borders the following municipalities: Amblar, Cavareno, Coredo, Dambel, Don, Sanzeno and Sarnonico.
