Román Mejías Gómez (born August 9, 1930 in Abreus, Cuba) is a former professional baseball player who played outfielder in the Major Leagues from 1955 to 1964. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Red Sox, and Houston Colt .45s (later renamed Houston Astros). He also played one season in Japan, in 1966, for the Sankei Atoms.
