Rogart (Scottish Gaelic: Raoghard) was originally a scattered crofting village, until the opening of the Rogart railway station at Pittentrail 1.5 miles to the southeast, is a newer industrialised village that grew around the arrival of the railway in 1886, with the older village remaining at the original location. It is situated in eastern Sutherland, Scottish Highlands and is in the Scottish council area of Highland.
