Robyn Gibbes

Robyn Gibbes (born 2 January 1957 in Goroka, Papua New Guinea) is an Australian actress, probably best known for her roles in Prisoner (as Sam Greenway) and Round the Twist (as Fay James).

Television roles

She has also appeared in Matlock Police, The Restless Years, Carson’s Law, The Flying Doctors, Blue Heelers, All Saints, Water Rats, Home and Away and Something in the Air.

Personal life

Her father was the Second World War Royal Australian Airforce fighter pilot and air ace, Wing-Commander Bobby Gibbes, DSO and DFC and Bar. After the war, Gibbes operated an air line and grew plantation coffee in Papua, where Robyn was born, prior to returning to Sydney, Australia, to live.
