Carlos Robson Gracie (Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈʁɔbsõ ˈɡɾejsi]; born 1935) is the 2nd son of Carlos Gracie, the founder of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and a member of the Gracie Family. Grandmaster Robson is a 9th degree red belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is the father of several children including black belts Charles Gracie, Renzo Gracie, Flavia Gracie, Ralph Gracie, and the late Ryan Gracie. He is also the grandfather of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Kyra Gracie Guimaraes.[1][2]
He currently lives and teaches in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where he is the president of the Federacão de Jiu-jitsu do Estado do Rio de Janeiro.[3]
