Robert Shapard

Robert Shapard, Ph.D., is a former managing editor of Western Humanities Review. His short fiction has been published in literary magazines, and he has received a G.E./C.C.L.M. Award for Younger Writers. He teaches literature and fiction writing at the University of Hawaii. Robert Shapard has been the editor with his colleague James Thomas of a number of short-short story and flash fiction anthologies, including Sudden Fiction, Sudden Fiction International and Sudden Fiction (Continued).
