Robert Leighton is a British film editor who resides in the United States. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Film Editing for the feature film, A Few Good Men starring Tom Cruise, Jack Nicolson and Demi Moore. He has had an extended collaboration with film director Rob Reiner over more than twenty-five years. In the last decade he has also edited several films with Christopher Guest. He has edited hit comedies and mockumentaries such as This is Spinal Tap, Best in Show and When Harry Met Sally as well as classic dramas such as Stand by Me and the Stephen King thriller, Misery, which garnered actress Kathy Bates a "Best Actress" Oscar.[1] He is also responsible for editing the movie "Now You See Me."
