Robert Hodson

Robert Leighton Hodson (1885–1960) was the second Bishop of Shrewsbury in the modern era.[1]
Educated at Berkhamsted School and St Edmund Hall, Oxford,[2] he was successively Curate at St Peter's Wolverhampton,[3] Vicar of St Stephen’s, Cheltenham, Rector and Rural Dean of Wolverhampton and finally (before his elevation to the Episcopate) Archdeacon of Stafford. He retired in 1959 [4] but died only a year later.
