Robert Heinecken
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Robert Heinecken (1931–2006) was an American photographer, printmaker and conceptual artist.[1]
Heinecken's artistic series involved appropriating and re-processing images from magazines, product packaging or television. In "Are You rea" series, for instance, he used the negatives' transparency to superimpose images, creating suggestive combinations.
From 1960 to 1991, he was a teacher at UCLA Art Department.
