Robert Ekh
Rev. Robert Ekh Swedish pronunciation: [ˈroːbəʈ ˈeːk], born on October 19, 1953 in Sundsvall, is one of the Pastors of Livets Ord (Word of Life) church in Uppsala, Sweden and a member of the Word of Life management board. He holds a Master of Divinity and is a Bible teacher.
Ekh became acquainted with Ulf Ekman, the founder and earlier senior pastor of Livets Ord, both making the university theological studies required to become ordained priests in the Church of Sweden. Ekh was ordained in the Swedish Church in 1980, but moved to Uppsala in 1983 to, in collaboration with Ekman, found Livets Ord there. The same year he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, U.S. to study a year on Kenneth Hagin's Rhema Bible Training Center. When returning Ekh attained the office of second pastor in Livets Ord, and served in various positions there in 18 years, when he moved to Gävle to lead the local congregation of Livets Ord there. However, when Ulf Ekman moved to Jerusalem for three years, Ekh returned to Uppsala to temporarily attain the first pastor office until 2005, when Ekman returned, after which Ekh has held the position as second pastor.[1]
Robert is married to Åsa and has seven children, and several grandchildren.
