Robert John Clift (born 1 August 1962 in Newport, Monmouthshire) is a former field hockey player, who was a member of the golden winning Great Britain and Northern Ireland squad at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. He played club hockey for The Nottingham Hockey Club.

His preferred positions was inside left.
