Robat Karim (Persian: رباطكريم, also Romanized as Robāţ Karīm; formerly known as Shahriar and Shahryār)[1] is a city in and capital of Robat Karim County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 62,937, in 16,675 families.[2] It is located 27 km (17 mi) southwest of Tehran.
