Rix, often called Rix-Trébief, is a commune in the Jura department in the region of Franche-Comté in eastern France.
Geography
Rix-Trébief is located eleven kilometres east from Champagnole. It is composed of the villages Rix (775 m) and Trébief (763 m), as well as the farm Le Barbillon.
Demographics
As of the census of 1999, the population was 73.
The estimate for 2005 was 71.
