The Straw Dot (Rivula sericealis) is a species of moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found in Europe. The species closely resembles Evergestis forficalis.
The wingspan is 18–22 mm. The length of the forewings is 13–15 mm. The moth flies from May to October depending on the location.
The larvae feed on various grasses, such as False Brome and Purple Moor Grass.
