The Riverside Company is a global private equity firm focused on investing in growing small and medium-sized enterprises (with a value of up to $250 million/€200 million). Since its founding in 1988, the firm has invested in more than 310 acquisitions. As of July 2013, Riverside's global investment portfolio includes more than 75 companies with approximately 13,000 employees; their most recent acquisition being Blue Microphones over the summer of 2013.[1] Riverside has offices and makes investments across North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
