Rishton Cricket Club is a cricket club in the Lancashire League, which plays its home games at Blackburn Road in Rishton. For the 2011 season their captain is Jimmy Bibby and their professional is Cameron Delport.[citation needed]

The club was formed in 1865 and became a founder member of the Lancashire League in 1892. The club has won the League on eight occasions.[1] The club has employed many well known cricketers as professionals including Sydney Barnes, Allan Donald, Michael Holding and Vivian Richards.[2]
