Rio Cinema

The Rio Cinema is a purpose-built, two-screen, 144 seat cinema in Burnham on Crouch, Essex. The building dates from around the late 1920s, has a 1930s art deco facade and is English Heritage Grade II listed. It offers a mix of popular mainstream films and art house releases, open virtually all year round. Recently outfitted with modern projectors and leather lined sofasm, the Burnham Rio is one of the cheapest cinemas in the county.
