Riley Steele (born August 26, 1987) is an American pornographic actress.

Biography

Early Life and porn career

Steele grew up in Escondido, California, United States,[3] and before starting her adult film career worked at Starbucks and at a golf course snack bar.[4] In 2005, being a huge fan of pornographic films herself, Riley Steele travelled all the way to Hollywood just for the signing for Pirates, where she met some of her favourite stars, including her personal heroine, Jesse Jane. Jane advised her to get into the adult film business, and gave Steele her card.[3] Steele didn't contact Digital Playground until a couple of years later. Joone, the founder of Digital Playground, signed her to an exclusive contract that same day.[5][6] Her first scene was in the 2008 film Naked Aces 5.[4][6][7] In January 2011, she co-hosted the AVN Awards.[4]

In 2009 Steele starred in an Adult Film with former UFC fighter War Machine.[8]

In July 2012, Riley Steele announced her very brief retirement from porn along with fellow Digital Playground contract girl BiBi Jones, both citing unfulfilled promises by the adult industry.[9] She later explained that this had been a joke which she had not expected people to take seriously. She said she passionately loved the adult industry, along with all her co-stars, and was enjoying herself far too much to ever think about quitting.[10]

On September 20, 2013, Riley Steele signed a 2 year contract with director Axel Braun.[11]

Mainstream media

Steele appeared in the 3D horror film Piranha 3D as Crystal, a minor role.[12][13][14][15]

On December 23, 2010, Steele appeared alongside Manuel Ferrara in an episode of Manswers titled "Airplane Plane Hanger-On" to discuss their careers for the segment "How Can You Become A Porktastic Porn Star".[16]

In 2011, she appeared in TV Series: Life on Top and NTSF:SD:SUV.

She also appears as the supporting character Kaylie on the HBO/Cinemax series The Girl's Guide to Depravity.[17]
